Patient Match Clinical Trials
Matched Patient PDX Clinical Trials – Response Data to Guide Clinical Trial Enrollment
PDX-Matched Clinical Trials involve developing PDX models from clinical patients to direct their enrollment in a clinical trial based on the PDX evaluation, or a possible future therapy.
Patients are screened and selected for PDX development based on tumor type or molecular characterization and treated with standards of care by their oncologist.
During that time, a PDX model is developed and tested for response with multiple drug/drug combinations, yielding simultaneous relative response data. Based on the drug responses in the PDX model, patients are enrolled in the most suitable human clinical trial.
The patient-matched Champions TumorGrafts can also be preserved for future testing.
