Immunophenotyping via High Complexity Flow Cytometry in Acute Myeloid Leukemia

PhenoSeek Poster 7468 AACR_28Mar2024.pdf

Flow cytometry is essential for accurate risk stratification and treatment planning, analyzing cellular marker expression to characterize AML subpopulations with high sensitivity and specificity. Its rapid analysis aids in identifying AML lineage and progression through phenotypic analysis and deviations from normal. Since AML lineage and progression are critical predictors of residual disease and relapse, precise characterization of AML populations is vital. Champions Oncology has developed a high-resolution, 18-color PhenoSeek AML flow cytometry panel for enhanced identification of AML subpopulations.

  • Developed and optimized by Champions Oncology, the 18-color PhenoSeek AML panel profiles multiple AML and immune cell populations, using comprehensive markers for leukemic and immune cells.

  • The PhenoSeek AML panel, tested on whole blood and cryopreserved PBMCs, demonstrated clear resolution in both sample types, with AML blast subsets in K2 EDTA tubes remaining stable for up to 72 hours post-draw, compared to the 24-hour baseline.

  • LLOD results showing a detection limit of 400 events for AML monoblast and progenitor cells, and a potential AML blast progenitor frequency of less than 1%.
